Backroads Pictures worked for the Biden Campaign to develop and produce a climate series to tell everyday Americans' stories whose lives have been impacted by climate change. The goal was to highlight and, more importantly, humanize climate change's immediate threat and amplify America's diverse voices under pressure from the climate crisis.

Backroads produced 6 episodes highlighting people from the battleground states - Arizona, Michigan, and Florida. Two episodes were converted into TV ads to reach a wider audience. The two ads are the first national climate spot to run during a presidential election. The spots ran on Joe Biden’s Twitter (Melanie, John), Youtube, and MSNBC TV.

Additionally, Backroads and the Biden team produced a short documentary called ‘Sounding the Alarm - America’s Climate Crisis’ that is touring film festivals in 2021.
